Because evaluation takes place within an organizational and a political context, it requires sensitivity to stakeholder groups, political dexterity, management abilities, and verbal and written communication skills.
Keith Research & Evaluation desires to form partnerships with clients. Through forming collaborative partnerships:
- Information gathering strategies will be designed to provide the most reliable, valid, and timely data, based on available resources.
- Evaluation designs will mirror those commonly used in research (experimental, non-experimental or quasi-experimental; qualitative or anthropological; management- or participant-oriented; meta-analysis or secondary analysis, etc.).
- Appropriate evaluation typologies (needs assessment, evaluability assessment, process evaluation, implementation evaluation, outcome evaluation, impact evaluation, cost-effectiveness and cost-benefit analysis, etc.) will be used.
- Evaluation questions will serve as benchmarks for programs, policies, technology usage, management/performance standards, interventions/treatments, or training/educational curriculum.
- Systematic information can be collected on site, through the mail, using the phone, or via the web.
- Data analysis techniques will be selected to answer specific evaluation questions.
- Results of analyses can be presented in a variety of ways (scientific terminology, language understood by stakeholders, visual representation of data, etc.).
- Reports will be produced to meet client’s needs.
